CARSONS CARTEL (2) finished 3.5 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 2f at this track, an improvement on his eighth at Ruidoso Downs the run before. Must raise the bar but a big run is on the cards. KJ LOCO MOTION (5) ran below expectations when fresh from a lay-off at this track (Dirt) over 2f last time, finishing fifth and beaten 2.75 lengths. Finds a tougher race but this looks well within his grasp. SIGN FIRE (9) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 2f at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. WE LIGHTNING MCQUEEN (10) turned in another moderate effort last start when 5 lengths from the winner in seventh over 2f at this track. Better than recent efforts suggest.
