WOODSTOCK ROCK (2) built on a nice third two starts back at Mackay with a win over 6½f at Rockhampton three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by a nose. Enjoys a drop in grade so he is a major player. DEEP FURY (5) is coming along nicely this prep. Finished fifth when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at this track then improved and scored over 5f at Springsure two weeks ago, getting home by 0.9 lengths. Going up a level this time but he is good enough to play a major role. ROTHFURY (4) was safely held when seventh last time out over 6½f at Rockhampton, beaten 5.5 lengths. That followed a win at Rockhampton at the previous outing. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. GENERAL WOLFFE (6) made progress last time out, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner in second over 1m at Rockhampton. Placed to advantage so anticipating another big run.
