Race Tip

QUILL AMBITION (4) resumes from a lay-off of three-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish fifth at the latest run over 6f87yards at Canberra Acton. Has ability and can get off the mark. RICHBOY HARRY (6) was well in commission last start over 5½f at Springsure when third, beaten 2.75 lengths. Can bounce back over this journey. EMINEN (8) is a filly by Brabinger out of Miss Anna who is at the races for the first time. Fitter for two trials. Among the leading chances. RUBY SEVENS (11) resumes from a lay-off of five months. Could only manage to finish seventh at the latest run over 6f at Rockhampton. Solid top-three hope.
