BETHSHEBA (12) finished 5. 5 lengths behind the winner in seventh over 5f at this track last start after lifting strongly to score two runs back. Should be poised just off the lead. Likely to feature. THE PICCOLINO (8) hasn't raced since finishing 12th at Wyong and has placed in two trials leading into return. Rates among the leading chances. SAPPHIRE KISS (9) settled well back last start and never threatened when 5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 5f at Warwick Farm. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including a win and two minor placings. Grant Buckley gets the best out of this six-year-old mare. Will enjoy a drop in class so she will be hard to beat. BJORN IRONSIDE (4) didn’t threaten when resuming last start over 5½f at Port Macquarie, finishing fifth, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Generally goes well with that run under the belt. Should be much improved.
