SAVOCA (4) was ridden quietly then made a little ground and finished 4 lengths away in fifth last time out over 4½f at Scone a week-and-a-half ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. The testing material. TOY STORY (2) opened this prep with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when 11th over 6f at Port MacQuarie, beaten 6 lengths. Is yet to be beaten in two starts here on home soil. Nicely placed to take this out. SEE THE SAINT (11) started at 15/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 4 lengths at Armidale over 6½f. Nicely placed to bounce back. OTIUM (3) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Port MacQuarie, beaten 4.5 lengths. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
