QUEEN OF A HAND (2) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a nose from the winner in second over 6f at Port MacQuarie after being in contention on the turn. Likely improver with strong prospects. DAYU (1) has been in the market at his last couple of runs since resuming but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest eighth at this track over 5f. Rates highly on best figures. PELETTE (3) turned in a modest performance when seventh last time out over 5½f at Wyong, beaten 4.5 lengths. That followed a win at Muswellbrook at the previous outing. This doesn't look as hard so she can recapture winning form. VIA VEGAS (5) finished 3.2 lengths away from the winner last time at Kerang and gets some weight relief here. Should park just off the speed. Sure to be thereabouts.
