DAYU (6) missed the frame when resuming last start over 5½f at Port Macquarie but wasn't all that far from the winner. Gets back but will wind up late. Will prove tough to beat. KAYZ TIME (15) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 4 lengths over 5f at Port Macquarie. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Nicely drawn on the fence and she cannot be discounted. EXOREALM (9) was always well out of his ground when 4 lengths from the winner in ninth over 5½f at Port Macquarie last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Grafton the run before. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Has the ability to put the recent run of form behind him. JO JO SUN (4) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Port Macquarie, finishing third and only 1.5 lengths from the winner at the end of 6f. Looks well placed so expect a bold display.
