SHAROHA (6) is a three-year-old filly who is having her first run for the Nathan Doyle yard. Resumes after finishing seventh at Pakenham at her last run a year ago. Fitter for placing in a Beaumont (Newcastle) trial and is in a nice race. Can return in winning form. TAKE A BREAK (11) remains a maiden after five runs. Was one of the favoured runners last time but could only manage to finish sixth over 6f at Port Macquarie. Among the top chances in what looks a most suitable race. TOSMIAN (3) will find this a little easier than her second on debut four weeks ago, beaten 1.5 lengths at the end of 5f at Port Macquarie. Drawn out but another bold showing is expected. CLEVER ILLUSION (4) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Peter Cheers yard. Finished off last campaign with a tenth at Seymour three-and-a-half months ago. Ran sixth in a trial at Cranbourne over 4f and looks nicely placed. Has to be respected.
