SUPER SIOUX (9) is a handy galloper who was half a length from the winner in third when resuming last start over 4¾f at Moree. Leading player. NAVY STEEL (6) comes here off a break of four-and-a-half months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 4½f at Scone. Among the better hopes. NOT WRITTEN OFF (5) turned in a fine effort to win by a nose at this course and distance last start in a far better effort. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
