RING AHOY (1) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 1m3 1/4f at Grafton, finishing second and beaten a head. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. EGYPTOLOGIST (4) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 12 lengths back in 11th over 1m at Warren. Sure to give a great sight. SPENZALOT (2) was safely held when sixth last time out over 1m3 1/4f at Grafton, beaten 3 lengths after being in contention on the bend. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. HARDYO (7) turned in another moderate effort last start when 9 lengths from the winner in tenth over 1m at Quirindi. Well placed to turn things around.
