SIRLEAF (7) turned things around last start and got the job done by a nose when he came with a powerful finish over 7f at this track. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to cope. CHEVAL CHIC (2) finished 1. 5 lengths away in sixth last time out over 6f at this track a week-and-a-half ago. Steps up in distance. Right in the mix. NAUGHTY NURSE (6) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at Newcastle but couldn't back it up last start when 11th, beaten 9 lengths, over 7f at Newcastle. Worth noting William Stanley goes aboard. Won't find this as tough so she is likely to play a big role. SMART BUY (8) has been in the market at her last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest fifth at Muswellbrook over 7¼f. Well-placed and can sneak into the finish.
