IRISH JIG (8) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fifth, beaten 4 lengths, over 6f at Moree after he was in contention on the turn. Has further improvement to come and is ready to win. CHEVAL CHIC (2) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 7 lengths when tenth in a 1m contest at Doomben three-and-a-half weeks ago. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. PROCLIVITY (9) turned things around last start and landed the prize by 0. 6 lengths as public elect over 6f at Gulgong. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is good enough to cope. DUB (3) is fitter for two runs back from a lay-off, progressing nicely last time to finish second, beaten 0. 7 lengths, at Gunnedah over 6¼f. Has a win and three minor placings at this journey from five starts and cannot be overlooked.
