LUCCI (4) remains a maiden after four runs. Was well in commission last time but could only manage to finish eighth over 6f at Sunshine Coast after she gave away a big start. This looks a nice race so expect her to be right in the finish. SCATHINGLY (2) finished third, beaten 2 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 4½f at Scone after he was in contention on the corner. Likely improver with bright prospects. POIEMA (5) dropped out from the rails draw before closing late to finish fourth over 5f at Muswellbrook last start. Should prove tough to hold out. SUPIDO STAR (8) is a consistent performer with two minor placings from three starts this prep. Continued the trend last time out when runner-up over 4½f at Scone. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
