WILD FLASH (1) made progress last start to finish second over 7f at Hawkesbury after being prominent at the turn. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. FLEET FOOTED (9) settled well back then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 1.75 lengths away in fourth last time out over 5f at Quirindi a week-and-a-half ago. Steps up in journey. The winkers come off now. Rates strongly and expected to go close. BOLT AWAY NOW (3) ran well on debut last start to finish second over 7f at this track in a tougher race. Sure to take a lot from that hitout so he is a strong chance. NAVAL DESTROYER (2) was in contention on the bend and finished second last time over 6½f at Narromine when resuming from a lay-off, beaten a neck. Nicely placed to play a role in the finish.
