KING'S ANCHOR (6) found the line nicely last start to get up for second over 6½f at Bendigo when returning from a lay-off. Should be winding up late again. GRACCONI (4) stepped up to the mile for the first time last start at Ararat and after looking a winning chance halfway down the straight he finished midfield. Among the main contenders. ZETHEROS (9) is ready to win after he just missed last time, beaten a long neck into second over 1m at Stawell after being in contention all the way. Wide draw and will need a good steer from. Steps up a level but he is good enough to take this out. ANGEL'S GATHERING (1) finished third last start over 1m at Stawell, beaten 2. 5 lengths. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is right in contention.
