CORTAIN (6) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 1. 5 lengths back in fourth over 1m at Echuca. Well placed and expected to feature. SHE FLYS (8) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 1m at Kilmore, finishing fourth and beaten 1. 4 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. FINAL QUARTER (11) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Mildura over 1m2f. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she deserves plenty of thought. CHOSEN VENTURE (1) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 7 lengths away in ninth over 1m at Seymour. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
