BEST TERMS (7) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 7f at Pakenham when third, beaten 7 lengths. Sure to take a lot from that hitout so he should be in the finish again. AL (6) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 2. 75 lengths when seventh in a 1m contest at Moe a week ago. This is a nice drop in grade so he can find the winners' list. MANHATTAN MABS (11) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 1m at Hamilton when she did her best work late, beaten 2. 25 lengths. Hard to beat in this suitable race. DAD AND DAVE (8) wasn't beaten far over 7f at Echuca on debut last start and may appreciate the longer journey. Has upside and can measure up.
