SHAKO (12) returned from a lay-off three-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 0. 8 lengths into fourth over 5f at Eagle Farm. Second up record is very strong. Finds a suitable assignment and can take this out. WONDEREACH (6) has not appeared since he finished seventh over 5f at Eagle Farm on May 2. Has a solid when resuming record of two wins and two placings from six starts. Rates highly and should take some beating. THELWELL (7) was an impressive winner last time over 5f at Gold Coast. Drifted back on that occasion then quickened impressively to score by 3. 5 lengths. Will spot a start but wind up late and is among the chances again. MAXIMUM OUTPUT (2) was in the firing line on the bend and finished second last time over 5f at this track, beaten a nose. Will trim down following recent racing. Placed to advantage so expect another bold run.
