HIGHLAND KITTY (4) is a seven-start maiden who has been in the money at her last couple of runs, the latest when second over 1m3f at this track. Should camp just off the leaders. Sure to be in the finish. NARUKAMI (3) was never in contention when 12 lengths from the winner in 11th over 7f at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his sixth on debut at Gold Coast the run before. Finds a suitable assignment and can take this out. RED VEGAS (11) is a 34-start maiden struggling to break through but does look to be edging closer, the latest effort a solid fourth over 1m2f at Toowoomba. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is capable of testing her rivals. HOPETOUN PARK (9) was below his best last time, finishing eighth and beaten 10 lengths over 1m1/4f at Beaudesert. Well placed and should be thereabouts.
