DARTH INVADER (4) was an impressive winner last time over 5½f at Toowoomba, stalking the pace before lengthening nicely to score by 3 lengths. In fine form and worth following up. RUINS OF ROME (8) turned in a moderate run over this journey last time out, settling out the back and failing to come on when fourth over 6f at Doomben. This is a nice drop in grade so he is one of the main contenders. KAHLUA GIRL (15) was in contention on the bend and finished second last time over 6f at Lismore, beaten a neck. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish. HOME ZONE (13) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at this track, beaten 3 lengths. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
