Race Tip

RAPID CHEVAL (1) returns after a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 7½f at Sandown-Hillside. Has ability and should be right in the finish. ASHILLA (14) has not appeared since she finished sixth over 5f at Gayndah on June 7. Capable of playing a major role. SHAMROCK'S SECRET (9) got off the mark over 6f at this track last start, scoring by a head. Dan McGillivray was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. This is tougher but she cannot be underestimated. MANHATTAN'S (3) returned from a lay-off four weeks ago when she was beaten 5.5 lengths into eighth over 6f at Ipswich. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
