TOREADOR (1) had been going okay but was safely held last start when tenth over 1m at this track. Deserves another chance. FRENCH EMPIRE (3) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Dalby, beaten 3.5 lengths. Goes up a rung or two but he is fitter and capable of running a bold race. CASTERLY ROCK (7) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to finish third, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 1m1/4f at Doomben. Can figure in the finish again. DURBAN HARBOUR (2) ran a better race when second up last start, finishing fourth and beaten 2 lengths at Doomben. Expected to play a major role.
