RIPLEY (5) was well in the market on debut last time out and ran well but found a couple better over 5½f at Canterbury. Leading player with plenty of improvement in store. GREEN SPRING (3) is a gelding Lucky Vega who cost AUD $ 140,000 (Inglis 2024 Classic Yearling Sale) as a yearling and kicks off here. Placed in most recent trial. Looks set to run well. SOLIDUDE (7) went forward last time but couldn't quicken in the run home and finished fourth over 6f43yards at Ipswich. Expected to feature in the finish this time. TURBO TORQUE (8) ran very well when resuming then drifted back and was never a factor last time, beaten 9 lengths into fifth over 5½f at Gold Coast Poly. Better placed this time and can feature.
