QUADE (9) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by 2.25 lengths over 5f at Toowoomba. That continued the good form this campaign, with two wins and three minor placings from six starts. Top chance again. BAD EDUCATION (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6¾f at Doomben, beaten 2 lengths into fourth after being prominent at the turn. Finds the right race this time and can turn things around. CHAKRA BOY (3) impressed last time when he scored by a nose over this journey at Sunshine Coast Poly on November 22. Nice weight drop so he is capable of another strong effort. FASTCONI (4) was in contention on the corner and finished second last time over 5½f at Sunshine Coast Poly, beaten a neck. Taking on a better line-up this time but he deserves his chance.
