READY AZZ EVA (4) was given time to settle from an outside draw last time then wound up strongly in the straight for an eye-catching second over 6¾f at Doomben. Strong effort last time and is worth following up. BETTER BE NORDY (9) has been in the market at his last couple of runs since resuming but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest sixth at Ipswich over 5½f. Look for a better run this time out. RIMBAUD (6) scored in a at Eagle Farm but was below his best last time when fifth over 6f at Doomben. Well placed to atone.
