AUTUMN SHOW (2) is back from a lay-off after closing last campaign with a couple of wins, the latest over 1m3f at Ipswich on January 21. Leading contender. MAXIE TAP (14) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Esk, finishing second and only 2.5 lengths from the winner at the end of 7f65yards. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is up to the task. BIRMINGHAM (11) finished third last start over 7f at Sunshine Coast Poly, beaten 4 lengths. Yet to miss the placings in two starts over this course and distance. Hard to beat in this suitable race. REIGN OF POWER (5) returned from a lay-off three-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth over 6f at Ipswich. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
