GENTILESCHI (2) gave away a start then stormed home to win over 7½f at Hawkesbury last time out. One of the main contenders. SIMPLY REFUSE (8) was ridden quietly from a good draw last start before closing nicely to get up for sixth over 1m at Doomben. One to watch for late in the piece. ANEMACORE (1) finished third last start over 6¾f at Ipswich, beaten 1.2 lengths. Yet to miss the placings from four starts at this circuit. Ideally placed and is sure to be there at the finish. ENTERPRISE LASSIE (6) pushed forward and was a determined winner by a nose over 1m2f at Sunshine Coast Poly last time out. Is going well this campaign, recording a win and three minor placings from five starts. Solid claims on best form.
