GENTLE PRINCE (3) finished sixth last start over 1m at Gatton after racing on the pace for much of the way. Well placed and should be tough to rein in. HALF CROWN (7) ran below expectations last time at Ipswich, finishing 12th and beaten 9 lengths starting at 9/1. Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and two minor placings. Meets some better types this time but he has the talent to test this line-up. LOOSE UNIT (9) went forward last time and battled on gamely to finish just a head from the winner in second over 6f at this track when fresh from a break. Meets a stronger field but he is capable of running a bold race. GALACTIC LEGEND (10) was prominent at the bend and finished third last start over 5½f at Sunshine Coast Poly, beaten 2 lengths. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is good enough to take this out.
