POLARISING (17) was prominent from the outset when fifth over 5½f at Doomben last time out. Has never been out of the money in three starts at this course and distance. Drawn to enjoy a nice trail just off the pace. Will prove tough to beat. WITHIN REASON (5) is resuming from a break of five-and-a-half months for a new stable after finishing seventh over 6f at Doomben at her latest outing. Finished fourth in a trial over 5f at Doomben. Goes well when fresh with a win and one minor placings from four starts. Among the leading chances. KING YOSHI (3) turned in an encouraging run when resuming, settling well back then winding up nicely to finish fourth over 5f at this track. Can figure in the finish. ENCUBIERTO (2) is a handy type who resumes after a break of six months. At his last appearance he finished fourth over 1m at Eagle Farm, beaten 5.5 lengths. Looks to be back in good order following a recent trial placing. Will find this easier. Has to be respected in this company.
