BOCHEEVA (4) is a 12-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 8 lengths when 13th over 7f at Murray Bridge. Fitter and capable of taking this out. IRLANDAIS (7) did his best work late and finished 4 lengths from the winner in fifth last start over 1m2f at St Arnaud, an improvement on his ninth at Balaklava the run before. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. OLDPOP (10) was given time to settle from an outside draw last time then wound up strongly in the straight for an eye-catching third over 7½f at Gawler. One of the main contenders. TYITA (3) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1m4 1/2f at Morphettville. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out.
