Has the talent to put the recent run of form behind him. GULFSTATE (5) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound third over 7f at Werribee. Likely improver with winning claims. WINNING TOAST (7) gave away a big start at the top of the straight last start and finished 5.5 lengths from the winner in sixth over 7½f at Yarra Valley. Finds the right race and is worth consideration. ELECTRIC BEC (9) showed good early dash before weakening to be beaten 14 lengths into ninth over 1m2f at Stawell last time out. Has the ability to make her mark.
