WINTER NIGHTS (6) drifted back then closed strongly to score on debut over 7f at Echuca two weeks ago. Looks promising and can measure up again. NO GREATER VUE (5) is on a quick turnaround after a solid second over 7f62yards at Kilmore five days ago. Strong run last time and should prove tough to beat. SECOND FIX (3) improved sharply on his sixth two starts back at Ballarat with a win over 1m at Swan Hill three weeks ago, getting home by a nose. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is good enough to cope. 5 lengths. No surprise to see her in the frame.
