LUIGI THE BRAVE (6) broke through for his maiden win over 1m4 3/4f at Cranbourne last time, scoring comfortably. Looks well placed and he is a leading contender. WHISKY MOON (9) doesn't have the best strike rate but ran a nice race when resuming from a lay-off last time out over 1m1 3/4f at Yarra Valley, finishing third and beaten 2 lengths when he made late ground. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. HAIIRO (3) went forward last start over 1m2 3/4f at Terang and held on well for third, beaten 5. 5 lengths. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is up to the task. SUNDAY BUZZ (5) is back from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Closed last campaign with a minor placing over 2m1f at Warrnambool. Among the better hopes.
