KOBAYBI (8) looks close to a win after finishing in the money at both runs, the latest when third at Caulfield Heath over 6f. Well placed and can take this out. ALISENT (3) has filled a minor placing at both runs to date, the latest when beaten 2 lengths into second over 7f at Terang. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Best form puts her right in this. DOWNTOWN MAN (1) was in the money two starts back at this track but was unable to repeat the effort last time when seventh, beaten 13 lengths, at Kyneton over 7f95yards after being prominent at the turn. Meeting a deeper field this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. RADSTAR (12) was prominent at the corner and finished second last time over 7f at Ballarat when resuming from a lay-off, beaten a nose. Nicely placed to play a role in the finish.
