STAPHANI (13) finished 6 lengths adrift in tenth last time at this track in a disappointing performance. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. BATOKA CHIEF (9) ran below expectations last start, finishing eighth and beaten 13 lengths at Geelong over 1m4 1/4f. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
