ILOVEDIAMONDS (7) showed early speed from a good draw last time and battled on to finish fourth, beaten 6 lengths, over 5f at this track. Will go forward and is expected to be in the finish. SHE'S FIRST LADY (8) finished 12th two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 4½f at Albury, beaten 2.25 lengths. Must raise the bar but she has the talent to test this line-up. TAXING (5) resumes from a lay-off of three-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish seventh at the latest run over 6f at Kilmore. Ran fourth in a recent trial at Bendigo. Has ability and is a leading player. . Turned in a better run last time when second, beaten 4.5 lengths, at Swan Hill over 4f190yards. Tackling tougher opposition but must be respected.
