OUR COUVER (1) finished 2.5 lengths away in sixth last time out over 6f at Mornington three weeks ago. Steps up in journey. Should park just off the speed. Will give a great sight. STEPCHILD (3) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start when he made late ground but found a couple better over 1m1/2f at Sale, beaten 2.75 lengths. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. MR VERSE (10) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 1.3 lengths over 1m at this track. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Drawn out a bit but he is a great chance to go back-to-back. WHAT A CROSS (8) returned from a lay-off a week-and-a-half ago when he was beaten 2.2.5 lengths into fourth over 1m at Cranbourne. Fitter and sure to run well.
