LYRICAL GANGSTER (10) has been in the market at his last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start finishing 11th over 1m at Benalla. Rates highly in this line up and can improve. WASCALY (2) went back early from his wide draw over 1m1/4f at Flemington last time but hit the line strongly to finish fifth. Outsprinted in the run home but kept coming and the extra ground looks a big plus. Leading player tough to stop. JACKAND (5) finished 1.75 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 1m1f at Sandown-Hillside, an improvement on his fifth at Geelong the run before. Finds an easier assignment and can find winning form. JAZ TYCOON (6) improved sharply last time out to score by a nose over 1m at Wagga three weeks ago. Well placed to feature in the finish again.
