VEGAS ON FIRE (10) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Donald. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fifth over 1m3/4f at Geelong, beaten 4 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Nicely placed to return to winning form. SACRED KIWI (7) finished just 0.7 lengths from the winner in third last start over 1m at this track after racing on the pace. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. MY HEART (15) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when ninth over 7½f at Bendigo a week-and-a-half ago after being prominent at the bend. Perfectly placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. HEAVENLY EAGLE (2) was beaten 4.5 lengths into fourth in a 7f contest at Ballarat last time out. No surprise to see him in the mix.
