WARCHIME (7) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fifth, beaten 2.75 lengths, over 7f27yards at this track after he settled well back. Will strip fitter and is ready to win. BOSSA NOVA LAD (10) did a good job last start to finish second at Sale over 1m3/4f, beaten half a length. Hard to beat. FRIDAY AT FIVE (5) hit the frame two starts ago at Bendigo but ran below par last time when 11th and beaten 6 lengths over 1m at Ballarat after being in the firing line on the bend. Finds a more suitable contest and can find winning form. CORTAIN (8) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage ninth over 1m at Pakenham Synthetic. Well-placed and can sneak into the finish.
