STORM CAPITAL (2) is a five-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 6 lengths when seventh over 5f at this track. Improvement to come and this is his chance to break through. MAXANDUS (1) resumes from a lay-off of six-and-a-half months. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 5f at Tamworth. Rates highly and is a strong chance to break through. KAWATIRI (5) is yet to break through in eight runs. Finished eighth at her last appearance over 4½f at Newcastle on November 20 after she was well back on straightening. Expected to feature in the finish this time. BY LINDA (4) has not appeared since she finished sixth over 5f at Tamworth on August 29. Lines up. For the first time for trainer Kelly Barber.
