WAR STRIDE (6) was safely held when second last time out over 6½f at Aqueduct, beaten 4 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. That followed a win at Aqueduct at the previous outing. Finds a tougher race but he has the talent to test this line-up. RIDGEWOOD RUNNER (3) improved last start to finish second over 7f at this track. Looks well placed so expect another big run. SHADOW DRAGON (4) returns from a layoff of three-and-a-half months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 1m at Aqueduct. Sure to make his presence felt. ACOUSTIC AVE (1) brings the right form to the table after taking out a 5½f contest at this track last time out by 0.8 lengths. Has a strong record here, including two wins from four appearances. Worth plenty of thought.
