BRASS MONKEYS (5) was too good for a maiden field last start over 6f at Nowra, scoring by 2. 25 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped. LIAMENA AVENUE (4) was in contention on the bend and finished second last start over 6f at Queanbeyan, beaten half a length. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again.
