BEECHWORTH (2) finished 5 lengths back in third over 7f at Caulfield last time out after a gutsy win when resuming from a lay-off two runs back. Terrific chance to return to the winners' list. THE MEAN FIDDLER (9) has been in the market at his last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start finishing 12th over 1m1/2f at Flemington. Worth another chance. CINTURATO (1) improved last time out, finishing 2. 5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 6f at Sandown-Lakeside. Suitably placed so he can be prominent again.
