NATURAL RULER (4) started at 5/2 last time but could only manage fifth, beaten 5 lengths, at Caulfield Heath over 1m1f. Last run worth forgiving. Can atone. BLUE WILLOW (14) finds it hard to win with just one success from 11 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1m at Sandown-Lakeside, beaten 3 lengths.
