JUDAS TREE (3) impressed when successful as favourite on debut over 6f at Ballarat Synthetic two weeks ago. Has plenty of upside and should go on with it. AVENGERS (5) is a maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing 1. 75 lengths back in fourth over 5½f at Canterbury four-and-a-half months ago. Fitter for three trials, placing most recently. Likely to be in the finish. COMMIT (1) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 6f at Sale, scoring by half a length. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Drawn out a bit but he should be in the finish again. CIVIC SQUARE (6) is a two-year-old gelding on debut from the stable of Greg Eurell. By Wooded from Redadoo.
