EASY DUN (2) came from well back on the bend and hit the line strongly to score over 1m at Bendigo last time out. Has a win and two placings at this journey from four starts. Another bold showing is expected. WINTER NIGHTS (8) hasn't raced since finishing seventh at Geelong over 1m3/4f a month ago. Kept ticking over with a recent trial at Flemington. Rates well and looks a definite each-way chance. RAPID CHEVAL (7) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on March 11, finishing sixth and beaten 15 lengths over 1m at Sandown-Hillside. Worth plenty of thought.
