ROYAL EMBLEM (8) ran below expectations when fresh from a lay-off at Warrnambool over 1m2f last time, finishing fifth and beaten 6 lengths. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. LIKE A TIGER (4) was in the firing line on the bend and finished second last time over 1m1f at Caulfield Heath, beaten a nose. Placed to advantage and can take this out. STRAAND DEAL (3) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by a neck over 1m2f at Morphettville. Likely to be there at the finish again.
