Previous course winner O'CONNELL (2) remains lightly raced as a staying chaser and arrives having run a race full of promise on his return to action over 3m2f at Carlisle last month. These more testing conditions will be right up his street and with that run under the belt he can get back to winning ways. TANGANYIKA (1) needs to be included having also run well when fifth in a decent handicap chase on his return to action at Cheltenham in November. It's tough to ignore the claims of the progressive ASK BREWSTER (3) who arrives on a four-timer following his reappearance win in a 2m7 1/2f handicap chase at Chepstow in October. INVINCIBLE NAO (5) is another that could be in the mix.
