Drawn to enjoy a nice trail just off the pace. Will play a major role. TRUFFLE FINDER (8) was allowed to drift back from a wide draw last time before finding the line strongly to score by half a length over 7f at Sale. Worth following up. CASTLE ON HIGH (5) returned from a lay-off last start with a strong win by 0.8 lengths over 6½f at Bendigo. Open to plenty of improvement and another big run will not surprise. VARANE (9) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage seventh over 7f at Sandown-Lakeside. Well-placed and can sneak into the finish.
